Who We Are

GoalCodex is a football statistics platform built for people who want to go deeper than the scoreline. We index goals and matches across dozens of competitions worldwide, and make that data searchable, filterable, and exportable — for fans, analysts, coaches, and anyone who just loves the numbers behind the game.

How It Started

GoalCodex started as a personal project — a frustration with how hard it was to find clean, queryable goal data without scraping multiple sites or buying expensive data feeds. The first version was a simple table. It grew from there: more competitions, richer filters, player and team pages, match records, and eventually the AI assistant that lets you search the entire database in plain language.

What We Cover

The database spans international and club competitions across multiple confederations. You can explore by country, competition, team, or individual player — filtering by season, goal type (penalty, own goal), minute, and more. Match records include scorelines, venues, and rounds.

Our Commitment

We care about accuracy above all else. Bad data is worse than no data. Our data is sourced from third-party providers, which means occasional gaps or inaccuracies can occur — a missing assist, a wrong minute, or a result that hasn't synced yet. We do our best to catch and correct these as quickly as possible, and the database is updated on a continuous basis. If you spot something wrong, the contact page goes straight to the people who maintain it.
